Commercial Heating Wet Worker Engineer Location: Sussex and home counties Salary: GBP40,000 per year, plus call outs Hours: Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm. Job type: Full-time, permanent Bridge Recruitment is helping one of our well-established clients recruit for an experienced Commercial Heating Wet Worker role to join their ever-expanding team. Responsibilities of the Commercial Heating Wet Worker: 路 Analyse faults/issues and identify appropriate tools and materials for repair, using saws and pipe cutters as necessary 路 Adhere to the highest H&S standards at all time, complying with company H&S procedures 路 Write reports documenting any faults and a summary of actions taken 路 Perform inspections of plumbing systems to identify and replace worn parts 路 Isolate and cap radiators/valves when found to be leaking 路 Replace/install radiators and ancillary pipework where required 路 Replace/install 2 and 3 port control valves and immersions, wiring the controls accordingly 路 Replace/install cylinders, thermal stores, tanks and ancillary equipment 路 Upgrade/repair heating and hot water services 路 Replace/repair pipework, tap stats, isolation valves and mechanical plant where required 路 Always deliver the highest level of customer care, exceeding service delivery expectations and delivering The Perfect Repair 路 Complete and maintain site logs (written and electronic) 路 Responsive callouts associated with heating / hot water systems, delivering a high level of first-time fix Requirements of the Commercial Heating Wet Worker: 路 Must have min Level 2NVQ plumbing 路 Must have experience in plant rooms & commercial systems 路 Must have experience with HIU's 路 Strong analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills 路 Good listening skills and strong verbal communication skills 路 Must be able to work as part of a team and on your own initiative If you feel like you meet the above criteria for the Commercial Heating Wet Worker role, then please apply now!
