Year 3 Teacher

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 3 teacher to join a lively primary school in Heathfield. The successful candidate will play a vital role in guiding Year 3 students through their academic journey, helping them develop key skills and a love for learning.

Key Responsibilities

As a Year 3 teacher, you will:

• Develop and deliver engaging and interactive lesson plans that align with the National Curriculum, ensuring all students are supported in their learning.
• Create a nurturing and inclusive classroom atmosphere where every child feels valued and motivated to participate.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and tailored support to help them achieve their goals.
• Foster strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to create a collaborative and supportive school community.
• Implement effective behaviour management strategies to maintain a positive and focused classroom environment.
• Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and school events to contribute to the overall development of the school.

We are looking for a candidate who:

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and has experience teaching in a primary school setting.
• Is passionate about education and committed to promoting an inclusive and engaging learning environment.
• Demonstrates excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with students and their families.
• Is creative and adaptable, able to employ innovative teaching methods to inspire students and meet diverse learning needs.
• Has a strong understanding of the National Curriculum and effective assessment practices.
