Our client are currently seeking a Mechanical Supervisor to oversee their ongoing Water sector projects on a contract basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervising and coordinating mechanical activities on site
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, particularly SSSTS standards
- Overseeing the installation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical systems
- Managing the workflow and productivity of the mechanical team
- Liaising with project managers and other stakeholders to meet project timelines
- Inspecting completed work to ensure it adheres to specifications and regulations
- Providing technical guidance and support to team members
- Documenting and reporting on project progress and any issues encountered
Job Requirements:
- Experience in the mechanical engineering field within the water sector
- SSSTS regulations and guidelines
- EProficiency in reading and interpreting mechanical drawings and specifications
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet stringent deadlines
