An exciting opportunity for anexperienced Control Room Operator to join a well-established team in a forward-thinking company, specialising within the Social Housing. This role is for a motivated individual with a good eye for detail and enthusiasm with solid communication skills.

A night in the life of a Control Room Operator will include:

  • Handle client calls politely, addressing out-of-hours enquiries such as bookings, repairs, and anti-social behaviour incidents.
  • Professionally communicate with staff and external parties.
  • Operate incident management systems and monitor CCTV, including activation-led systems.
  • Provide real-time support to the business from the control centre.
  • Coordinate with emergency services to support staff and clients.
  • Maintain logs, incident reports, and company records.
  • Assist with building concierge duties, including light cleaning and maintenance tasks.
  • Report resident maintenance issues to the Repairs Team.
  • Ensure confidentiality, data protection, and professional boundaries.
  • Complete additional duties to support business operations and reputation.

The successful candidate will have/be:

  • Previous experience within a similar role preferred
  • Highly organised with a strong work ethic.
  • Customer-focused and professional
  • Able to perform well under pressure.
  • Knowledge of confidentiality and data protection.
  • Proficient in Excel, Word, and other software.
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexible and reliable
