As a Housing Officer you would act as first point of contact for the tenants on all matters relating to their tenancy.
About You:
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to effectively communicate with tenants and team members
- Experience in managing tenancies withing the social sector
- The ability to remain calm and have empathy in difficult situations
- Conduct welfare checks for vulnerable tenants and make safeguarding referrals when needed
- Ensure compliance with statutory landlord duties, including gas and electrical safety checks
- Provide support for succession, assignment, and amendments to tenancy agreements
- Offer support and advice for tenants
