Are you an experienced Quantity Surveyor looking for your next career move? We are working with a leading tier one property services contractor, seeking a dynamic Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their team in Kingston. This exciting opportunity is focused on social housing reactive repairs contracts, playing a pivotal role in managing and delivering high-quality services for clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and oversee cost control for social housing reactive repairs projects, ensuring financial performance meets expectations.
  • Collaborate with project teams to provide accurate forecasting, valuations, and variations.
  • Lead the preparation and negotiation of contracts, ensuring compliance with company and client requirements.
  • Work closely with subcontractors and suppliers to secure competitive prices, manage risk, and ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Provide commercial advice and cost reporting to senior management.
  • Foster strong client relationships and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
About You:
  • Extensive experience as a Quantity Surveyor, ideally within the social housing or property services sector.
  • In-depth knowledge of the NHF Schedule of Rates, with the ability to apply this knowledge in reactive maintenance and repairs contracts.
  • Proven track record in reactive repairs and maintenance contracts.
  • Strong commercial acumen and ability to manage costs effectively.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
  • Knowledge of relevant industry regulations and standards.
  • A relevant degree in Quantity Surveying or similar discipline, with professional accreditation (RICS, CIOB) desirable.
