We have an excellent opportunity to join our team here at Zenith Training. In this role, you will

monitor, review and evaluate the quality of assessment processes and practices, and the overall quality of provision. You will support, motivate and develop Assessors to improve the quality of delivery across all learning programmes, ensuring high quality teaching, learning and assessment for all learners. Responsible for ensuring the company’s Internal Quality Assurance processes are rigorous and lead to continuous improvement, improved learner satisfaction and success rates across the team.

Role responsibilities:

  • To monitor, review and evaluate the quality of assessment processes and practices, and overall quality of provision, ensuring robust IQA and best practice processes are in place and followed consistently.
  • Produce and maintain sampling plans for internal verification in line with company policy.
  • Complete regular sampling of Assessor activity to ensure consistency across the team.
  • Check the compilation of e-portfolios and monitor the quality of evidence.
  • Ensure sampling is completed and turned around within the timescales set.
  • Manage sampling and verification activities to improve the progression and achievement of learners.
  • Complete IQA reports which are clear, well written and with sufficient detailed to support and improve performance.
  • Plan and complete IQA observations of Assessors to ensure the IQA strategy is met.
  • Ensure units and components of qualifications/standards meet the full requirements of each specification and assessment plan.
  • Confirm Schemes of Work and Lesson Plans meet the requirements of the awarding organisation.
  • Complete quality assurance and audit activity across the wider team to support improvements and share good practice.
  • Support the organisation’s commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young adults and vulnerable adults.
  • To support, motivate and develop Assessors to ensure learners have a positive learning experience and KPIs are achieved.
  • Support in the management of delivery models and other resources to embed a consistent and standardised approach to delivery.
  • Support the development of resources and learning materials to support a wide range of vocational and learning needs.
  • Assessors embed the cross-cutting themes of Safeguarding/Prevent, Equality & Diversity, Health & Safety, Well-being, Literacy and Numeracy.
  • Ensure all IQA activities continually meet the needs of the learners, exceed the requirements of Awarding Organisations, Ofsted and Zenith Training.
  • Support the Quality & Compliance Manager/Lead IQA by identifying improvements to the IQA practices through a process of review to improve delivery and success rates.
  • Participate in and/or manage EQA visits to ensure the visit schedule is adhered to, following up actions or recommendations as required to drive continual improvement and maintain DCS.
  • Tacke an active role in preparation towards Ofsted inspections as well as taking part in inspections as required.
  • Aid in the development of new qualifications and gain centre/scheme approval when necessary.
  • Support in the registration and certification of learners in line with company policy.
  • Support the team to ensure assessment plans, templates and resources are set up on e-portfolios.
  • Involvement in ISO audits.

Requirements:

. Must have extensive knowledge and experience of Apprenticeship Standards and the End Point .

. Assessment Process.

. Hold a recognised Internal Quality Assurance qualification - V1, D34, L4 Award in the Internal

. Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes and Practice, or equivalent.

. Hold a recognised Assessor qualification - D32/D33, A1, TAQA, CAVA, or equivalent.

. Hold a recognised teaching qualification at L4 Certificate level or above - CTLLS, DTLLS, Cert Ed, L4

. Education and Training, or equivalent.

. The ability to work in partnership with employers and other stakeholders.

. Have up to date knowledge of Education & Skills Funding Agency requirements.

. Hold a current full driving licence.
