Location: Based in Hebburn, with the flexibility to work remotely 2-3 days per week, supporting projects and servicing activities.

 

 

Key Responsibilities of the EHS Advisor:

 

  • Drive exceptional EHS performance across all work sites.
  • Foster an EHS-driven culture by engaging with employees and contractors at all levels to influence behaviour.
  • Provide up-to-date EHS advice to address evolving business needs and technological advancements.
  • Ensure conformance with EHS standards through the management of externally certified systems (ISO 14001, 45001, 50001).
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to share best practices and elevate EHS standards.
  • Lead incident investigations and disseminate lessons learned to continuously enhance safety.
  • Develop and implement EHS risk-based strategies to address key safety areas.
  • Ensure compliance with EHS training and competency requirements, delivering induction training where necessary.
  • Identify opportunities for digitalisation to meet future EHS needs.

 

 

What You Bring:

 

  • NEBOSH General Certificate
  • Experience in incident investigation and auditing
  • Membership with IOSH (or working towards it)
  • A UK driving licence for occasional travel to work and customer sites
