Shift Pattern: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Pay rate: £20.15
Are you passionate about making a difference in people’s lives? If so, the Recovery at Home team at South Tyneside and Sunderland Foundation Trust are looking for an experienced Occupational Therapist to join their team.
This is a unique and rewarding role which will allow you to work with, lead and support colleagues during a time of innovation and development as our team focusses on the implementation of Urgent Community response and of Virtual Wards.
You will work within Directorate One of Community Services, supported by senior colleagues who are passionate and proud of the services we deliver to our community of South Tyneside and Sunderland.
The team delivers planned and unplanned care to people in their own homes, to assist in preventing hospital admission and supporting those who have recently been discharged from hospital, require enhanced intervention and short-term rehabilitation support for their physical and functional health needs to remain at home.

To be successful in applying for this role you will need:
- Degree or equivalent in Occupational Therapy
- HCPC registration
- Valid UK drivers licence
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment and managed well under stressful situations
- Experience of working with people with acute or chronic Long Term Condition
