Design Engineer required to join a well-established manufacturing company that is a leading provider of architectural and structural steel fabrication solutions. The successful candidate will have previous Designing experience within the Structural Steel industry.
Design Engineer Job Overview- Liaise with customers, architects and engineers.
- Creating Tekla models based on Architects & Engineers drawings incorporating site surveys.
- Preparing GA's and IFC's for customer approval.
- Preparing part drawings, DXF's and NC files for sub contract manufacturing.
- Preparing Assembly drawings and detailed workshop drawings for manufacture.
- 3+ years of Design Engineering experience with use of TEKLA or Solidworks
- An understanding / experience with structural steel
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
- Based in a commutable distance of Halifax
- Full time - Permanent
- Salary £30,000 - £50,000 depending on experience
- Monday to Thursday 07:30 - 17:00. Friday 07:30 - 14:30. Permanent position
