Grill Chef, £12 - £13 per hour – 44 hours per week, Full Time, permanent Position – Hebden Bridge, West Yorkshire
Grill Chef required for this local, vibrant and popular local bar & brewery location. As the Grill Chef your role will be to work alongside the management and kitchen team. You'll be responsible for preparing some awesome menu's, and maintaining the high standards.
The Role
Grill Chef - Working in connection with the Head Chef you'll be responsible for maintaining the high standards expected and to be an integral part of the senior team.
Menus are all generated from head office but change on a seasonal basis, this role would suit a candidate who is looking to work for a great company with opportunities for growth and personal development. You will be expected to lead, direct, train and supervise your team members and maintain all tasks in the kitchen.
- Preparing, cooking, presenting and serving items across the menu to the best of your ability, in a manner agreed by the management team.
- Ensuring all routine cleaning schedules are maintained.
- Follow house Health & Safety and Food Hygiene policies.
- Day-to-day stock management (ordering / checking stock / stock takes)
Required Experience
The successful candidate will have experience in a busy kitchen environment and preferably in a similar role. The candidate should have excellent attention to detail, high standards of food service, be hard-working and have good communication skills. A proven track record, with fresh ideas will express drive, success and passion for the position.
