Sleaford – Competitive salary and with overtime and on call allowances + van

We are working with a company that produces some of the best-known and most iconic brands in the UK.

At their broiler farm in Sleaford, they are now looking for a maintenance engineer to work days, Monday to Friday.

The hourly rate is £18.75 (paid weekly) Monday to Friday – 07.30am to 17.15pm with overtime paid at x 1.5.

There is also an on call rota for shared throughout the team with an on call allowance paid weekly and annually. Min 4 hours paid x 1.5 regardless of minutes / hours worked.

In the event you have completed more than 10x weeks on ‘standby’ from January to December, any additional week on ‘standby’ will be paid at £122.50 per ‘standby’ week.

It therefore offers the opportunity for a good OTE and regular pay in a long term stable working environment.

The Maintenance Engineers on my client’s farms offer a unique opportunity to work away from the factory, though still indoors, with a varied workload.

During the interview process you will have the opportunity to visit the broiler farm in Sleaford.

Key Responsibilities:

You will be part of a larger Agri Estate Maintenance and Engineering team
The Maintenance Engineer ensures that all maintenance work, including planned, preventative and emergency work is carried out across the Broiler and Breeder functions
Carry out duties in accordance with the Planned Preventative Maintenance Schedule.

What We’re Looking For:

Electrical Engineering discipline NVQ level 3 or equivalent
Mechanical Experience
Experience of heating and ventilation systems
Full Driving License
