The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting for an exciting new opportunity as a Clinical Quality Nurse Officer in West Yorkshire.

Job Description:

As a Clinical Quality Nurse Officer you will be a key member of the quality team leading and providing advice on IPC and clinical risk, oversight of clinical risk in nursing / Residential services and delegate nursing tasks, Robust medications management and contribute to embedding positive behaviour support , which ensures the safety of our children, young people and adults meets the objectives of the trust.

This is a new role, which the successful candidate will have a large role in shaping to suit the needs of the organisation. Because of this, there will be autonomy and room for creativity. There will still be a huge amount of support available, as the candidate will work alongside a qualified Nurse and an NA as well as our Clinical Leads in OT, SLT and Physio.

Experience:

  • Previous experience of dealing with regulatory bodies e.g Ofsted and CQC.
  • Experience of quality management processes, root cause analysis and report writing.
  • Experience of influencing colleagues that the person does not line manage and support them to make improvements.
  • Experience of managing stakeholder expectations.

Qualifications required for the role:

  • Active Registered Nursing Pin -NA, RGN or RNLD
  • NVQ Level 3 or above in Leadership and Management / Willing to work towards ( Desirable)
  • A willingness to undertake relevant qualifications and training relevant to the role.
