Major GPS are recruiting for an experienced and enthusiastic Laser Operator to join our established clients business and their busy and expanding Laser engineering team based in West Yorkshire.
This is the perfect opportunity for a motivated and dynamic person to thrive, working within a successful and vibrant team using the Amada Laser Cutting equipment.
Key Skills:
- Must have previous experience as a Flat Bed Laser Operator, Amada would be adistinct advantage
- Must be able to read and understand engineering drawings
- Knowledge of different metals an advantage.
- Able to set and maintain a high standard of workmanship
- Able to work pro-actively and as part of a team to improve productivity and efficiency
Hours: 39 hours per week.
Monday to Thursday 6.00am-3.00pm. Friday 6.00am-11.00pm.
If you have previous experience with various Laser Cutting machines you will be considered for the role as you will have transferable skills and additional training will be given.
