Ashley Kate are delighted to be partnering with a great business as they look to recruit a permanent, Part time HR Officer, based near Wakefield.

Part time HR Officer

28-30 hours per week - ideally across 4 days

Wakefield area - 3 days a week onsite

Permanent

Up to 35k FTE

As the HR Officer, you will support the Head of HR in driving continuous improvement across the business.

Key responsibilities but not limited to:

- Advise and support managers with sickness absence, performance ER matters, in line with legislation and policies.

- Assist in the creation of new HR policies and procedures when required.

- Support Recruitment and Inductions.

- Support the admin side of HR, ensuring all documentation is maintained and up to date.

- Involved with training across the business, in particular new training pathways.

We are looking for:

- Good experience dealing with operational issues and giving generalist advice to managers.

- Solid employment law knowledge and a good understanding of Employee Relations.

- Excellent communication with the ability to build relationships at all levels.

- Ideally CIPD qualified but not essential.
