Our client is seeking skilled Marine Mechanical Fitters to support maintenance and engineering activities on marine vessels. This role is integral to ensuring vessel systems and equipment are maintained to the highest standards, adhering to strict health, safety, and quality protocols.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform mechanical fitting tasks, including inspections, fault-finding, and repairs on various marine systems and equipment.
  • Work within confined spaces and at heights as required.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, including PPE and environmental standards.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, including certification and training records.

Essential Criteria

  • SVQ Level 3 in Marine Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification.
  • Certification in confined space and working at heights.
  • Valid fit-to-work certification from a recognised occupational health practitioner or GP.
  • Proven experience in marine vessel maintenance and engineering tasks.
  • SC clearance must be in place at the time of application.
