The successful Production Controller will be responsible for:
- Releasing job cards into production via the VWR and VSSR systems.
- Pushing and pulling product through the production and stores departments (flow)
- Reviewing shortages and expediting priorities
- Progress reporting on production
- Liaison for project managers
The ideal Production Controller will have previous relevant experience of working in a planning/materials role ideally within a manufacturing or engineering environment. You must understand the production planning processes and have experience with MRP/ERP systems. You should have excellent organisational skills and strong IT skills, in particular MS Excel.
The Production Planner role offers a competitive salary and the working hours are 37 per work(8.30am to 4.30pm Mon-Thurs & to 4pm Friday)and is commutable from Pickering, Malton, Scarborough, York, Thirsk & surrounding areas.
