We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Engineer for a leading company. This critical role involves maintaining and repairing facilities and equipment to optimize production, minimize downtime, and uphold safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Hands-On Repairs: Troubleshoot and service daily plant machinery issues.
Proactive Solutions: Collaborate with team members to create strategies for efficient operations and promote autonomous working.
Emergency Response: Quickly address breakdowns and unplanned challenges.
Contractor Management: Coordinate and oversee external service providers on-site.
Maintenance Compliance: Assist with general maintenance duties, ensuring adherence to BRC standards.
Performance Metrics: Compile KPIs to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Preventative Maintenance: Lead Planned Preventative Maintenance and conduct Root Cause Analysis.
Asset and Risk Management: Focus on lifecycle costs, critical spares, and business continuity planning.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Experience in industrial mechanical maintenance, with electrical fault-finding expertise.
Familiarity with pumps, pneumatics, and PLC systems is advantageous.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
Recognized engineering qualifications; LEAN and FMCG experience is a plus.
Flexibility in hours to meet the business’s needs.
