Our client a leading manufacturer of bespoke stairs in the UK are looking for a full time, permanent welder with either MIG and/or TIG welding experience to help work on a large portfolio of projects.
You will be working as part of a team in the fabricating and welding of a variety of structures, working from CAD & Solidworks drawings.
Duties
- Fabricating & welding components (between 3mm and 20mm) in down hand, vertical, or overhead positions
- Remove rough spots using a portable grinder
- Hand file or chisel and cut workpieces using powered saws or portable grinders
- Able to work to high standards and tight timescales
- Using own initiative both individually and as part of a team
Skills
- Experience working with CAD & Solidworks drawings
- 2 years experience with MIG/TIG welding
- Working as part of a team
Full-time, Permanent
Pay: 15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
