Group Financial Accountant, £50- £55,000pa plus Benefits Inc- Bonus (10-20%), Medical and PensionHemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire (Hybrid working)Our client, a household brand based in Hemel Hempstead has a rare opportunity for a Group Reporting Accountant to make a move into a fast paced, high profile role in industry. Working closely with the Group Financial Controller you will play a key role in the continued growth of the business. This role has excellent long term, developmental opportunities within the business. Key Duties:--Preparation of year end statutory accounts for all Group companies-Responsibility and ownership of accounting and reporting of group entities.-Preparing budgets, forecasts and helping to deliver improved Kip's throughout the business.-Review of period end balance sheet reconciliations prepared by the business.-Preparation of balance sheet reconciliations for payroll related balance sheet accounts.-Management of daily cash-flow and general banking related matters.-Co-ordination and management of year-end audit, main point of contact for external auditors.-Ad-hoc project work.The successful candidate will be ACA/ACCA qualified with a strong record of achievement to date. You will have recent experience of consolidation and a good awareness of accounting legislation principles. You must be flexible, organised and able to meet strict deadlines.
