Are you experienced with Group Management Accounts with a background in manufacturing? Have you worked in a group setting with consolidated accounts and experience using an ERP system?
We're working closely with an international company based in Hemel Hempstead to help them find a Management Accountant ready to join a fantastic organisation dedicated to making the world a more sustainable, safer, and healthier place.
This is an exciting opportunity with a quick start, we're looking for a Qualified Management Accountant, and while experience with SAP B1 would be a big advantage, it's not essential.
The company moved into state-of-the-art offices in Hemel Hempstead's Maylands area in 2023, offering a collaborative and innovative working environment. The finance team works together in the office on Mondays and Tuesdays, with the flexibility to work from home three days a week-a 2/3 hybrid split.
The role offers a competitive salary of up to £50,000, along with hybrid working, a bonus of up to 10%, a solid pension, 25 days of holiday (plus bank holidays) with the option to increase, and access to a "pick your own benefits" portal.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly management accounts to a WD5 deadline.
- Produce global weekly after-sales reports.
- Manage all UK bank payments, including trade creditors, payroll, pension costs, finance, and other expenses.
- Approve weekly payment runs.
- Prepare payroll in collaboration with the payroll provider.
- Handle pension payments.
- Review credit card expenses and approvals on Concur, including new cardholder applications.
- Forecast cash flow for the group.
- Take responsibility for the UK P&L and USA P&L.
- Prepare financial submissions for R&D tax credits (annually).
- Produce margin reports for equipment.
- Liaise with external auditors as needed.
What We're Looking For:
- At least 3 years' experience in a similar role.
- ERP system experience (Enterprise Resource Planning).
- Background in manufacturing or stock management.
- Group reporting experience.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
- Experience with SAP B1 is advantageous but not essential.
