Principal Developer / Software Team Lead

Are you a seasoned developer who’s ready to guide a team of talented engineers and still keep your hands on the code you love? Do you thrive in creating solutions that are scalable, maintainable, and genuinely impactful? This could be your dream role.

As our new .Net Lead, you’ll play a dual role: 50% mentoring/leading, 50% hands on. You’ll steer your team toward excellence, helping them grow their skills while staying in the thick of it by coding, building integrations, and delivering cloud-based solutions.

Here’s what your days might look like:

  • Build cutting-edge solutions using modern tech like .NET (C#, Azure Functions, React).
  • Develop seamless integrations with external systems, APIs, and cloud services.
  • Create and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, and Terraform.
  • Deliver robust, serverless solutions with Azure Logic Apps, Azure Service Bus, and Container Apps.
  • Ensure clean, secure, and testable code while driving best practices and continuous improvement.
  • Coach, mentor, and guide a team of developers, helping them achieve their career goals.
  • Work closely with architecture and product teams to build aligned and innovative solutions.
  • Lead recruitment, onboarding, and personal development initiatives to grow the team.

What We’re Looking For

We’re after a passionate leader who’s as comfortable writing top-notch code as they are guiding a team.
If you have expertise in:

  • NET (C#, .NET Core, Web API), React, Azure Functions, Azure Logic Apps, and more.
  • Building reliable system integrations and APIs.
  • Terraform, containerization (Docker), and serverless tech.
  • CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and deployment best practices.
  • Proven experience mentoring developers and fostering collaboration.
  • Thrives on unblocking challenges and driving solutions.

You’ll work with:

  • Azure Functions, Logic Apps, and Container Apps
  • .NET (C#) and React
  • Swagger / OpenAPI
  • Terraform, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions
  • Docker, Dapr, Cosmos DB
  • Python, PowerShell
  • Agile/Scrum

Our central office is in Hemel Hempstead, but we’re flexible. Work from home on Mondays and Fridays if it works for you.
