Salary: 28,000 - 32,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
Monday to Friday, 40 hours a week

Job Description: We are seeking a passionate and talented Junior Mechanical Design Engineer to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a key role in the design and development of their pioneering wheelchair products, working closely with the Managing Director and contributing to the overall innovation and success of the business.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist in the design and development of ultra-lightweight manual and powered wheelchairs
- Create and update 3D CAD models and technical drawings.
- Participate in prototype development, testing, and validation.
- Support the implementation of design changes and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Document design processes and maintain accurate records.
- Contribute to brainstorming sessions and innovative solution development.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent HND/HNC in Design/Engineering
- Proficiency in 2D & 3D CAD
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Eagerness to learn and develop new skills.
