Job Purpose:
As a Senior Structural Engineer, you will lead project teams, supervise and train engineers and technicians, and manage all aspects of project delivery. You will play a crucial role in preparing technical details, liaising with clients and other professionals, and ensuring projects comply with statutory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage project teams, providing supervision and training.
  • Oversee financial, technical, and project management aspects of projects.
  • Prepare preliminary layouts, technical specifications, and assess project risks.
  • Liaise with architects, clients, subcontractors, and other professionals.
  • Ensure projects comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations.


Key Skills & Experience:

  • Degree in Structural or Civil Engineering.
  • Working towards Chartered status.
  • Minimum of 6 years' post-qualification experience in structural design.
  • Proficiency in designing with conventional materials and refurbishment projects.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and demonstrate good commercial awareness.
