A rare and exciting opportunity has arisen for a Scientist with experience of working with/designing analytical instruments, to join a pioneering research company based in Hemel Hempstead. This is an excellent opportunity for a Scientist looking to apply their skills and experience to the design, build and testing of experimental equipment with a real world application. The role is offered on an initial 12 month fixed term contract, and will involve frequent travel (including overnight stays) to 3rd party laboratories across the south of England, which will be fully expensed.

What’s required of the Scientist?
- MSc or PhD in a relevant field such as Chemistry or Physics. PhD preferred
- Experience with analytical instruments, specifically spectrometry, with ion mobility spectrometry a distinct advantage
- Eligibility for SC Clearance
