We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Bookkeeper to join our client, a well-established practice accountancy firm. The Bookkeeper will be responsible for managing a small Bookkeeping team.
The responsibilities of the Bookkeeper include but are not limited to the following:
- Manage and lead the Bookkeeping team to meet departmental deadlines.
- Oversee onboarding of new clients seeking bookkeeping services.
- Ensure smooth and accurate processing of end-of-month payment runs.
- Work with other department leaders to identify and implement process improvements and efficiencies.
- Delegate work effectively, ensuring that the right tasks are passed on to team members.
Skills, Experience & Key Candidate Attributes:
- In-depth knowledge of bookkeeping, double-entry accounting and end-of-month payment runs.
- Qualified with AAT Level 2.
- Proven ability to manage a team and delegate tasks.
- Familiarity with Xero and other cloud-based systems.
- Ability to collaborate with other teams and create efficiencies within processes.
