Temporary Accounts Payable Assistant required for 1-2 months in Hemel Hempstead.

Think Accountancy and Finance is excited to be partnering with a renowned, forward-thinking business in the Hemel area. We're on the lookout for an enthusiastic and skilled Accounts Payable Assistant to join a dynamic team to support their Accounts Payable for 1-2 months.

Due to the requirement it is essential you have experience in a high volume environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Efficiently process invoices with accuracy
  • Reconcile supplier statements and investigate discrepancies
  • Address and resolve supplier queries in a timely manner
  • Ensure compliance and uphold high standards of accuracy
  • Collaborate closely with the Accounts Payable team and other departments

What We're Looking For:

  • Strong experience in Accounts Payable
  • Confident working with high-volume transactions
  • Multi-site experience is a plus
  • Proficient in Excel, including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs
  • Analytical mindset with a proactive approach to improving processes

About You: You are detail-oriented, proactive, and excel in fast-paced environments. Your curiosity drives you to suggest innovative improvements, all while maintaining a solid understanding of debits, credits, and data management. Above all, you are a team player who values collaboration and actively contributes to a positive workplace culture.

This is a short-term temporary assignment where you will be paid an hourly rate + holiday pay.

Please only apply if you have high volume Accounts Payable experience and you can start at short notice. You will also be required to work full time in the office in Hemel Hempstead for the duration of the assignment.
