About the Role

An organisation based in Hemel Hempstead are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Commercial Analyst to join their team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for data analysis and a strong commercial mindset.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Extract and analyse data to support decision-making processes.
  • Conduct research into innovative trends and activities that can drive income generation.
  • Provide support for ad hoc, project-based work as required.
  • Ensure all activities are carried out in accordance with government guidelines and regulations.
  • Prepare and deliver high-quality presentations using PowerPoint.
  • Utilise Excel for in-depth data analysis, reporting, and forecasting.

About You:

  • Proven experience in a commercial environment, with a strong background in business analysis or data analysis.
  • Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed recommendations.
  • Ability to work independently on project-based tasks while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Experience working within regulatory frameworks or government guidelines is an advantage.
