My client are looking for a Marketplace Executive to join their dynamic team, where you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of all marketplace activities to ensure ongoing revenue growth and increased profitability. This role is pivotal in providing detailed analysis, accurate reporting, and optimisation of all their marketplace accounts, as well as overseeing the setup of new marketplace ventures.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Lead trading activities across various marketplace accounts including Next, John Lewis, Debenhams, Very, and more.
  • Onboard, implement, and document the end-to-end framework and processes for new marketplaces, considering the impact on operational processes such as distribution.
  • Collaborate cross-departmentally with Buying, Merchandising, Finance, Marketing, and Distribution teams to successfully set up and maintain new and existing marketplace accounts.
  • Maintain and update data to ensure optimisation of all marketplace catalogues and preparation for audits.
  • Analyse marketplace performance proactively, propose long-term/seasonal growth plans and strategies.
  • Regularly update product information, monthly reports, and spreadsheets to enable the team to take appropriate actions to boost revenue and profitability.
  • Build and maintain relationships with marketplace partners to optimise performance and create growth opportunities.
  • Manage a continuous programme of product information uploads, content creation, and SEP across all marketplace accounts.
  • Support the launches of new marketplace accounts and after-sales operational optimisation standards (e.g., customer service, returns).
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in managing marketplace accounts and e-commerce platforms.
  • Familiarity with systems and analytics, ideally with experience in stock management systems and web platforms such as NetSuite.
  • Strong data entry, analysis, and manipulation skills.
  • Independent thinker, self-motivator with an inquisitive mind, and a flexible approach to change.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills, capable of working proactively and managing your own tasks.
  • Systems and process-driven with a passion for continuous improvement across the business.
