This is a full time office based role.

As the Chief Technical Officer/IT Director, you will be responsible for leading, developing and managing their internal IT team, ensuring they effectively support business operations and drive growth. Your role will involve identifying, implementing and maintaining business processes within the company that enhances efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strong Leadership Skills: Manage and develop a strong internal team
  • Internal System Management: Manage internal systems, ensuring they are secure, stable and compliant with industry standards.
  • Project Management: Lead system upgrades, new implementations, and process improvements, ensuring seamless integration and minimal disruption to operations.Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with internal departments to understand their IT needs and implement solutions that enhance business operations.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate system-related risks, ensuring business continuity and robust data security measures, designated DPO.
  • Manage and continual review the: Cyber Security/ Vulnerability Management/Industry frameworks.
  • Vendor Management: Manage relationships with software providers, including negotiating contracts and ensuring optimal service delivery.
  • User Support and Training: Provide training and support to staff to maximise the effective use of IT systems, including the creation of user guides and documentation.
  • Data Management: Ensure all company data within the CRM is accurate, up-to-date, and properly maintained.
  • Reporting: Produce detailed IT reports for senior management, highlighting key metrics, system performance, and project statuses.
  • H&S: Responsible and approved persons.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Several years of experience in an MSP or similar environment, with a strong background in systems administration and project management.
  • Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of PSA software / systems, particularly within the Datto/Autotask ecosystem.
  • Project Management: Proven experience in leading IT projects from conception through to implementation and ongoing support.
  • Communication Skills: Strong people skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organisation.
  • ISO27001 Standards: Working Knowledge and implementation
  • Problem-Solving: Demonstrated ability to analyse and resolve complex technical issues.
