Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Qualified Level 3 Practitioner to join our vibrant nursery team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care and education to children aged 0-5 years, ensuring their safety, well-being, and development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Childcare: Provide a high standard of physical, emotional, social, and intellectual care for children, promoting their development and well-being.
  • Planning and Implementation: Plan and implement engaging activities and learning experiences in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
  • Observation and Assessment: Monitor and record children’s progress through detailed observations and assessments, sharing these with parents and carers.
  • Safeguarding: Ensure all safeguarding policies and procedures are followed, and that children are kept safe from harm.
  • Parent Partnership: Establish and maintain positive relationships with parents and carers, providing regular updates on their child's development and addressing any concerns.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other staff members to create a nurturing and stimulating environment, sharing ideas and supporting each other.
  • Professional Development: Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Essential:
    • Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification or equivalent
    • Proven experience in a nursery or early years setting
    • Strong knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • First Aid and Safeguarding certification
  • Desirable:
    • Experience with special educational needs (SEN)
    • Additional training or certifications in child development
