Job Title: Qualified Level 3Â Nursery Practitioner
Location: Hemel Hempstead, England, United Kingdom
Working Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
Salary: £21,000 - £24,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Job Summary:
We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Qualified Level 3 Practitioner to join our vibrant nursery team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care and education to children aged 0-5 years, ensuring their safety, well-being, and development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Childcare: Provide a high standard of physical, emotional, social, and intellectual care for children, promoting their development and well-being.
- Planning and Implementation: Plan and implement engaging activities and learning experiences in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
- Observation and Assessment: Monitor and record children’s progress through detailed observations and assessments, sharing these with parents and carers.
- Safeguarding: Ensure all safeguarding policies and procedures are followed, and that children are kept safe from harm.
- Parent Partnership: Establish and maintain positive relationships with parents and carers, providing regular updates on their child's development and addressing any concerns.
- Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other staff members to create a nurturing and stimulating environment, sharing ideas and supporting each other.
- Professional Development: Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Essential:
- Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification or equivalent
- Proven experience in a nursery or early years setting
- Strong knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- First Aid and Safeguarding certification
- Desirable:
- Experience with special educational needs (SEN)
- Additional training or certifications in child development
