Location: Close to Kings Langley, Hertfordshire Hours: 39.5 hours per week, Mon-Thurs 8:00 am - 4:30 pm; Fri 8:00 am - 4:00 pm (30-minute lunch).Company OverviewOur client is a renowned supplier within the aerospace industry, manufacturing high-precision parts. The successful CNC Grinder will join a dynamic team in a modern, clean environment, producing high-precision aerospace components. This role focuses on programming, setting, and operating CNC grinding machines.Key Responsibilities
  • Program, set, and operate CNC Grinding machines in line with production schedules.
  • Optimise cycle times and utilise appropriate tooling.
  • Log and record time for every task accurately.
  • Submit components for first-off inspection to ensure compliance with drawing specifications.
  • Proactively prepare programming for upcoming tasks to ensure smooth transitions.
  • Uphold the company’s Dignity at Work policy and contribute to a respectful work environment.
Experience & Skills Required
  • Proficient in programming, setting, and operating CNC Grinders and manual machines.
  • Understanding of mathematical concepts, such as trigonometry.
  • Experience in a manufacturing setting, with a focus on tight tolerance requirements.
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently.
  • Ability to handle pressures of production schedules while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
