- Program, set, and operate CNC Grinding machines in line with production schedules.
- Optimise cycle times and utilise appropriate tooling.
- Log and record time for every task accurately.
- Submit components for first-off inspection to ensure compliance with drawing specifications.
- Proactively prepare programming for upcoming tasks to ensure smooth transitions.
- Uphold the company’s Dignity at Work policy and contribute to a respectful work environment.
- Proficient in programming, setting, and operating CNC Grinders and manual machines.
- Understanding of mathematical concepts, such as trigonometry.
- Experience in a manufacturing setting, with a focus on tight tolerance requirements.
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently.
- Ability to handle pressures of production schedules while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
- Hours: 39.5 hours per week, Mon-Thurs 8:00 am - 4:30 pm; Fri 8:00 am - 4:00 pm (30-minute lunch).
- Overtime: Payable at 1.5x hourly rate.
