- Set and operate CNC Milling and Turning machines, maintaining precision to tolerances of +/- 0.001” (0.025mm) and occasionally +/- 0.0005” (0.0125mm).
- Collaborate with Planning, Quality, and Engineering teams on repeat and new product introduction (NPI) jobs to refine and enhance manufacturing processes.
- Maintain a high standard of 6S on the shop floor.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, including Kaizen events, to enhance manufacturing processes.
- Previous experience in aerospace or a similar high-precision environment.
- Competent in setting and operating CNC Mill/Turn using Fanuc controls.
- Strong understanding of tolerances specific to customer requirements, with experience in maintaining tight tolerances.
- Either apprentice-trained or experienced by qualification.
- Hours: 39.5 hours per week, Mon-Thurs 8:00 am - 4:30 pm; Fri 8:00 am - 4:00 pm (30-minute lunch).
