About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Gas Contract Manager to oversee and manage gas contracts within the HP postcode area. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the effective delivery of gas services, managing contractor relationships, and ensuring compliance with all safety and regulatory standards within private housing. This role will play a key part in maintaining operational efficiency and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Contract Management: Manage and oversee gas contracts, ensuring compliance with all terms and conditions, and monitor contractor performance.
  • Budget Control: Develop, manage, and control budgets associated with gas contracts, ensuring cost-effective delivery of services.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the primary point of contact for contractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery of services.
  • Compliance and Safety: Ensure all gas-related works comply with relevant regulations, safety standards, and company policies. Conduct regular audits and inspections to maintain high safety standards.
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor and report on the performance of gas contractors, identifying areas for improvement and implementing action plans as necessary.
  • Project Management: Plan, schedule, and manage gas service projects to ensure timely and within-budget completion.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks associated with gas contracts and projects, ensuring the safety of employees, contractors, and customers.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all gas contracts, including changes, renewals, and terminations, ensuring all documentation is up-to-date and compliant.
  • Customer Service: Handle any customer issues or complaints related to gas services, providing timely and effective resolutions.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Proven experience in contract management within the gas industry or a related field.
