Job Title: Credit ControllerSalary: £28,000 to £32,000Hours: 37.5 - hybrid workingLocation: Hemel HempsteadDue to internal promotion, we have a new and exciting opportunity for a Credit Controller to join our established client who provide a finance services to small-medium sized businesses.

This role would suit a Credit Controller with business to business experience, strong attention to detail and great organisational skills. If you enjoy working with a dedicated, thriving team and want to develop your skills leading to potential progression, this could be a great role for you.

As Credit Controller , you will play a pivotal role in the finance department and would ensure that the debt purchased is payable to the end debtor. You’d be the first point of contact for all debtor communication.Key Responsibilities for a Credit Controller:

  • Running allocation of collections
  • Processing and posting cheques onto the system
  • Managing the portfolio of clients’
  • Verification of the purchased invoices
  • Ensuring the customers are meeting the payment dates
  • Working to impending, disapproved and aged debt reports
  • Sending copy invoices and supporting documents
  • Emailing customer/client statements
  • Debt collection via emails/ telephone/ LBA

Essential skills required for a Credit Controller:

  • Previous B2B credit control experience
  • Ability to build and maintain customer relationships
  • Team player with "can do" attitude
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Influencing skills and confidence to make decisions
  • Experience of working in a fast pace environment
