I'm working on behalf of a specialist school in Hemel Hempstead that's looking for an SEMH Teaching Assistant to support students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. If you have experience working with children or young people with additional needs and are passionate about helping them succeed, this role could be perfect for you!
The Role:- Supporting students with SEMH needs on a 1:1 or small-group basis.
- Helping to manage behaviour and create a safe, structured learning environment.
- Working closely with teachers, SEN staff, and external professionals.
- Encouraging students to build confidence, resilience, and independence.
- Experience supporting children or young people with SEMH, ASD, ADHD, or behavioural needs.
- A calm, patient, and positive approach to behaviour management.
- A genuine passion for making a difference.
- £100 per day - paid weekly.
