We are currently seeking enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to join a dedicated team at a specialist SEND school in the Hemel Hempstead area. This is a full-time position, with working hours from 8:30am to 3:30pm, and candidates must be available for an immediate start. Previous experience working with children in the UK is essential, and experience supporting pupils with SEND is highly desirable.
The role begins with a two-week paid trial period, and is offered on a temp-to-perm basis, subject to successful completion of the trial.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide one-to-one support or assist small groups of pupils as a Teaching Assistant, helping to meet their individual learning needs.

Work closely with class teachers to foster a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.

Support pupils both in the classroom and around the school in your role as a Teaching Assistant.

Contribute to the academic, social, and emotional development of SEND pupils.

Collaborate with fellow Teaching Assistants to ensure a consistent and high-quality support system for all students.

Requirements:
- Available Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm.
- Able to start in January as a SEND Teaching Assistant
- Have a Child & Adult only DBS or willing to apply for one.
- Experience working with SEND children.
- Live in the Hemel Hempstead area or able to commute to the area.
