Key Responsibilities for a Teaching Assistant:

  • Continuously reflect on and improve your practice as a Teaching Assistant
  • Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEND
  • Work collaboratively, contributing positively to the school team
  • Support teachers in delivering engaging lessons as a Teaching Assistant
  • Observe and assess children's progress, offering valuable feedback to teachers and parents as a Teaching Assistant

For this role, you will have:

  • Previous experience working with children in a school or residential care home
  • Experience working with children, with a reference to support it
  • An enhanced DBS or willingness to obtain one
  • The ability to commute to Hemel Hempstead or live locally
