Qualified Electrician
My client is a well established Electrical and Data Engineers working in a variety of organisations within the Education, Healthcare, Police and Transport sectors, who, as part of their expansion are looking to recruit a qualified and experienced Electrician.
The services provide and your role will include:-
- PAT testing
- EICR Reports
- Electrical Maintenance
- Commercial Power and Lighting installation
- Installing Security and Data Networks
This is a permanent role for a person who has 18th Edition wiring and the following qualifications:-
- Diploma in Electrotechnical Services (Electrical Maintenance) Level 3 Diploma in Installing Electrotechnical Systems & Equipment (Buildings, Structures and the Environment) Level 3 Diploma in Electrical Installations (Buildings and Structures) if part of an Apprenticeship.
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulation.
- C&G 2360 Part 1 & 2 or 2330, 2351.
- Electrician Cert, AM1/AM2.
- C&G - 2391 Testing and Inspection or 2394/2395.
- Knowledge of workplace health and safety regulations and safe lifting and handling procedures
- ECS/CSCS Health & Safety Assessment.
You must have:-
- The ability to follow technical drawings, building plans and wiring diagrams.
- An ability to work carefully, methodically and safely.
- An ability to measure accurately.
- A head for heights and willingness to work in all sorts of weather.
- A willingness to work in confined spaces.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- An ability to work in a team as well as on your own initiative.
- A flexible approach.
- Good problem-solving skills.
- Good analytical and evaluation skills.
- An ability to plan and organize other people's work, and motivate them.
Carry out all works in accordance with Technical Specification and as directed by the Installation Manager, within budgets and timescales set at the commencement of works.
You must have a clean UK driving licence and will have a company van for business use only. You will need to be DBS checked so please only apply if you are able to have this.
The sites will be either in London or within commuting distance of Hemel Hempstead, Herts so candidates must live within easy commuting distance of Hemel Hempstead, Herts.
