Employee Experience Specialist

Hemel Hempstead- Hybrid

Up to £60,000 per annum.

Responsible for overseeing all People-related communications, the manager ensures that key initiatives, updates, and changes are effectively delivered to stakeholders at every level, from frontline team members to the Leadership team. The role also involves driving People-focused workstreams, holding project leads accountable, and ensuring cross-functional alignment with the overall strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the design and implementation of an employee engagement strategy.
  • Create initiatives that celebrate culture, diversity, and the contributions of its employees.
  • Manage the development of engagement programmes such as employee recognition awards, diversity and inclusion campaigns, and wellness initiatives.
  • Improve the effectiveness of the engagement strategy by collecting feedback from team members, utilising surveys, and analysing data-driven insights to refine initiatives.
  • Run the end-to-end communication process for all People-related activities, ensuring smooth communication during organisational changes, such as restructures, policy updates, and new initiatives.
  • Be responsible for communication for People-related projects and activities across the organisation.
  • Produce plans and activities that anticipate challenges, employee concerns, and provide clear messaging during change.
  • Oversee the planning and coordination of multiple People-related projects and initiatives, ensuring they are executed on time and within scope..
  • Monitor project risks and implement solutions to keep projects on track.
  • Regularly report on project progress, outcomes, and key performance indicators to the Head of People and the Leadership team.
  • Take ownership of creating and presenting monthly People board reports, highlighting performance metrics, and progress against People objectives.
  • Lead the creation of internal communications that keep all team members informed about key business updates, achievements, and celebrations.
  • Utilise team member feedback to improve communication methods and ensure messages are reaching the audience effectively.
  • Oversee communication platforms, ensuring they are accessible to all team members, including those in remote locations.
  • Ensure all People strategies, recruitment campaigns, training programs, and development initiatives are communicated in an engaging manner.
  • Align with the leadership team to ensure that communication is in line with the company's long-term vision and strategic goals.
