Key Responsibilities for an Estimator
- Command onsite sub-contractors and ensure peak performance.
- Drive business growth by winning new contracts and exceeding client expectations.
- Order specialist materials with precision and efficiency.
- Conduct rigorous job site inspections to maintain tight timelines and exceptional quality.
- Develop and implement robust method statements in collaboration with supervisors.
- Oversee project progress and proactively address any challenges.
- Resolve client issues decisively and effectively.
Key Skills for an Estimator
- Proven experience as an Estimating within the Construction/Carpentry or Mechanical & Engineering sectors.
- Exceptional multitasking skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- A competitive drive to deliver compelling tenders and method statements within tight deadlines.
- Strong leadership qualities to manage materials, resolve onsite issues, and build lasting client relationships.
- A proactive approach to identifying and addressing potential maintenance issues.
