We are pleased to be working with an innovative and rapidly growing business who have a fantastic opportunity for an Executive Assistant to join an expanding, warm and welcoming company based in Hemel Hempstead.

As an EA you will be responsible for working closely with the company's COO. You will be key support, managing all aspects of daily operations, managing schedules, coordinating high-level meetings, handling sensitive data as well as much more!

We are looking for someone who is highly organised, someone who is hands on and able to assist with anything from supporting the team to assisting with big company projects and keeping on top of the COO's busy schedule. Previous experience within an EA/PA role is a must!

This is a permanent role paying between £35,000 to £45,000, working hours are Monday to Friday 9am - 5:30pm.

Duties to include:

  • Assist the COO in executing day-to-day operations by managing their agenda, tracking progress on projects, and ensuring that deadlines are met.
  • Oversee and track key projects led by the COO, ensuring progress is reported and tasks are completed.
  • Managing diaries, arranging meetings, appointments, webinars and conference calls with precision and accuracy.
  • Organise and schedule meetings, prepare agendas, document minutes, and track follow-up actions.
  • Liaise with internal teams and external partners on behalf of the COO.
  • Plan and arrange all travel logistics for the COO, including itineraries, accommodation, transportation, and preparation of all necessary documentation.
  • Handle all email and written correspondence, drafting responses, filtering important communications, and ensuring timely responses.
  • Assist in the creation of presentations, reports, and documents for internal and external use.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements implementing more efficient systems where appropriate to support operational excellence.
  • Proactively prioritise the COO's tasks.
  • Supporting the COO to ensure all company policies are up to date and valid.
  • Provide general office management and administrative support including filing, expense management, and supporting other administrative duties as required.

Candidate requirements:

  • Proven experience as an Executive Assistant supporting senior executives, ideally with a mix of professional and personal support responsibilities.
  • Exceptional organisational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a professional and courteous manner.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with the utmost confidentiality and discretion.
  • Strong attention to detail, with a proactive and resourceful approach to problem-solving.
  • Tech-savvy, with proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and familiarity with digital tools for managing tasks, calendars, and communications.
  • Ability to remain flexible and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
