Think Accountancy and Finance are excited to partner with a growing organisation based in Hemel Hempstead, seeking an experienced Finance Manager. If you have a background in a growing business where you have implemented processes and are happy to drive change then this could be the role for you.

As a key member of the finance team, you will report directly to the Finance Director and support the organisation in a wide range of financial activities.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare financial reports and present insights to the management team
Provide strategic financial insights to aid long-term planning and decision-making
Lead, mentor, and support the Finance Assistant encouraging development and progression
Oversee Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Credit Control functions
Prepare Management Accounts
Support audit processes and statutory reporting
Provide financial data and insights
Manage the businesses strategy for growth
Implement new processes and more efficient ways of working
Payroll

This is a key role within a rapidly growing organisation, so we are seeking a proactive, growth-oriented individual who can work independently while fostering collaboration with teams across the business.

Required Experience and Skills:

Qualified by Experience or a Chartered Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent)
Ability to think on your own as well as find solutions
Experience in payroll processing
Strong IT skills, including proficiency in QuickBooks or other cloud-based software
Ability to travel across multiple sites (access to own car is required)
Strong Excel skills
Strong communicator and ability to build strong relationships with people internally and externally
Experience working in a growing SME business.
