As a Senior Finance Business Partner, your role will be pivotal in shaping the future of our client's operations. You will be expected to maintain a direct connection with operations by occasionally visiting sites. Your ability to communicate complex financial concepts simply and effectively will be crucial in presenting insights to senior management and influencing key business strategies. Your proactive approach in identifying value-creating opportunities will play a significant role in exceeding their financial and strategic goals.
- Partner with Operations Directors and management teams to guide financial decisions.
- Analyse financial performance across various divisions, identifying risks and opportunities.
- Deliver insights during weekly and monthly reviews, supporting strategic initiatives.
- Develop and monitor budgets, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to produce universal performance reports.
- Provide actionable recommendations based on your financial acumen.
- Act as a critical friend, challenging decisions to foster a risk-intelligent culture.
- Support financial and strategic initiatives, translating metrics into meaningful KPIs.
What you bring:
As the ideal candidate for the Senior Finance Business Partner role, you bring along a wealth of experience in finance or accounting. Your strong grasp of accounting principles and financial reporting will be instrumental in this role. You are proficient in data analysis tools and have exceptional time management skills. Your ability to communicate complex financial concepts simply yet effectively sets you apart. You are proactive in identifying value-creating opportunities and possess leadership qualities that allow you to influence and drive initiatives without direct reports.
- Qualified CIMA, ACCA or ACA
- Experience of Business Partnering Senior stakeholders and developing trusted relationships with non-finance senior stakeholders
- Strong grasp of accounting principles and financial reporting, budgeting & forecasting and providing financial analysis / insight
- Ability to communicate complex financial concepts simply and effectively.
- Advanced Excel skills and ideally exposure to MI Systems, Tableau, Power BI or similar
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and exceptional time management skills.
- Proactive approach to identifying value-creating opportunities.
- Leadership qualities to influence and drive initiatives without direct reports.
