Berry Recruitment are seeking a Counterbalance Forklift Driver for our client based in Hemel Hempstead. This is an ongoing, full-time position that involves a combination of forklift operation and general warehouse duties.
Hours: Monday - Friday (8am-5pm, including occasional weekends)
Pay Rate: 13.00 - 13.50 per hour.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a counterbalance forklift to move and stack goods.
- Perform general warehouse tasks, including manual handling of items up to 25kg.
- Assist with loading and unloading vehicles.
- Organise and maintain goods in the warehouse.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Support the team with day-to-day warehouse operations.
Requirements:
- At least 1 years' experience operating a counterbalance forklift.
- Valid counterbalance forklift licence.
- Ability to carry out manual handling tasks up to 25kg.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.
- Be flexible to work weekends when needed.
- Good attention to detail and organisational skills.
