We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Band 8a Vascular Sonographer to join a leading healthcare team in Buckinghamshire on a locum basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for a professional with expertise in vascular imaging to contribute to a high-quality diagnostic service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform a wide range of advanced vascular ultrasound scans, including arterial and venous studies.
- Assess, diagnose, and report findings independently, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Collaborate with consultants and multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of best practices and advancements in vascular sonography.
- Uphold the highest standards of patient safety, dignity, and confidentiality.
Requirements:
- HCPC registration or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a vascular sonographer, ideally at Band 8a level.
- Competence in a range of vascular studies, including duplex ultrasound.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
- Commitment to maintaining professional development and high standards of practice.
