Early Years Nursery Practitioner and Senior Room Leader/ Floor manager

We are currently looking for two new enthusiastic staff at NEW fabulous, beautiful children's day nursery and preschool in Hemel Hempstead.

We are a welcoming nursery who appreciate all our staff, we will continuously invest in our team to ensure they receive ongoing support, training, quarterly supervisions, annual appraisals and offer a career path with genuine long term happiness, growth and stability.

We are looking for two enthusiastic and motivated individuals with a real passion for developing young minds, who as well as bringing their own experiences to the nursery, are eager to develop their knowledge base with continued learning.

We are a stunning nursery, who heavily invest in our facilities and staff. We have a stunning new nursery with opportunities for all staff to flourish in their career.

We are looking for oneRoom leader or Floor manager(L3 or higher) and one eitherNursery assistant/practitionerorSenior practitioner(Level 2/ 3 or higher)

Hours are ideally working over 4 or 5 days per week but can happily discuss options.

Salary is negotiable based on hours, experience and qualifications.

The Nursery Practitioner / Senior Room Leader:

Duties:

  • Assisting with the Nursery Management in providing day to day high quality childcare.
  • Provide a positive learning environment that offers choice, experiences, independence and meets all the children needs.
  • Be able to have key person responsibility and carry out daily and individual planning.
  • Ensuring a safe, secure and caring environment for the well-being of the children.
  • Work well within a team (Leadership - Lead a team within the rooms for a leadership role)

The ideal candidate will;

  • Be passionate about childcare and helping children to achieve, play and be safe.
  • Have a good working knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stages (EYFS).
  • Have previous experience of working with children under the age of five.
  • Be qualified at NNEB/NVQ level 2/3 or equivalent in childcare or at a higher level.
  • Be able to work well in a team.
