Job Title: Prison Coach

Salary: Up to 拢28,000 DOE

Location: HMP The Mount

Purpose:

To deliver high-quality group and individual interventions for CFO Evolution participants, supporting offender rehabilitation through structured programmes, education, and pre-release preparation.

Key Responsibilities:

路 Deliver and coordinate all Wing stages, including induction, assessment, and pre-release support.

路 Facilitate structured interventions and training sessions.

路 Recruit, train, and support Wing Peer Mentors.

路 Maintain accurate case notes and update internal systems (CATS+ & P-Nomis).

路 Build and maintain relationships with prison staff, external stakeholders, and through-the-gate services.

路 Provide post-release support where appropriate.

Requirements:

Essential:

路 Level 2 English & Maths or equivalent.

路 Experience in delivering training/interventions, ideally in the justice sector.

路 Strong facilitation, communication, and motivational skills.

路 Ability to work in a target-driven environment and manage challenging behaviour.

路 Proficiency in Microsoft Office and case management systems.

路 Commitment to safeguarding and rehabilitation.

路 Enhanced DBS check and prison vetting.

Desirable:

路 IAG Level 3 or Level 3 Award in Education & Training (PTLLS).

路 Knowledge of the criminal justice system.

路 Experience in developing intervention programmes.

路 Strong problem-solving and organisational skills.

路 Team player with the ability to work independently.
